Assistant Restaurant Manager

The primary responsibility of the Assistant General Manager is to set and achieve the highest standard in all areas of restaurant management which includes ensuring excellent guest service, team development, high quality foods, food safety, store cleanliness, and maximum profitability.

Assistant General Manager Responsibilities

  • Establishes restaurant business plan by surveying restaurant demand; conferring with people in the community; identifying and evaluating competitors; preparing financial, marketing, and sales projections, analyses, and estimates. 
  • Meets restaurant financial objectives by preparing strategic forecasts and budgets; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions; establishing and monitoring financial controls; developing and implementing strategies to increase average meal checks.
  • Attracts patrons by developing and implementing marketing, advertising, public and community relations programs; evaluating program results; identifying and tracking changing demands. 
  • Controls purchases and inventory by monitoring negotiated prices and contracts; using preferred supplier lists; reviewing and evaluating usage reports; analyzing variances; taking corrective actions. 
  • Maintains operations by adhering to policies and standard operating procedures; implementing production, productivity, quality, and patron-service standards; determining and implementing system improvements. 
  • Maintains patron satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food, beverage, and service offerings; initiating improvements; building relationships with preferred patrons.
  • Accomplishes restaurant human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining management staff; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures. 
  • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with health and legal regulations; maintaining security systems. 
  • Accomplishes company goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. 
  • Adhere to Federal, State and local laws in addition to Company policy (regulate compliance with work authorization/ liquor service/ wage and hour laws and, where applicable, break requirements), holds team members and managers accountable to these standards.

Server

We are looking for a skilled Waiter or Waitress to take orders and deliver food and beverages to our customers.

The right Waiter/Waitress uplifts the dining experience for customers. We are looking for someone who will have the patience, personality, and perseverance to thrive in this role. 

Waiter/Waitress responsibilities include greeting and serving customers, providing detailed information on menus, multi-tasking various front-of-the-house duties and collecting the bill. If you are able to perform well in fast-paced environments, we’d like to meet you. To be a successful Waiter or Waitress, you should be polite with our customers and make sure they enjoy their meals. You should also be a team player and be able to effectively communicate with our Kitchen Staff to make sure orders are accurate and delivered promptly.

Host/Hostess

We’re growing our team and are currently searching for hosts/hostesses with previous experience and are as committed to hospitality as we are. The position is incredibly important to us as the person serves as a bookend to our experience – often the first person our guests interact with whether by phone while making a reservation or in-person when greeting.

Dishwasher

The Feathered Fox is seeking dishwashers to join our kitchen team. A minimum of one year experience is preferred. 

Responsibilities Include

  • Maintain a clean kitchen, properly washes and sorts soiled dishes
  • Keep dish area free of clutter and organized 
  • Maintain clean/dry floors throughout the shift 
  • Properly wash, stack, and store china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers 
  • Assist in the timely storing of food deliveries 
  • Maintain trash cans throughout shift and remove full trash cans and boxes at the end of each shift 
  • Maintain the dry storage area and the organization of storage shelves 
  • Assist in any other duties set forth or requested by the chef as needed

Pastry Cook

The Feathered Fox is looking for a motivated individual to join our team. We are looking to hire a pastry cook who will execute and plate desserts. Night and weekend availability preferred.

The entire Culinary team must understand and implement the standards and spirit of Chef Chris Siversen and follow the directives of Kitchen Management. All Cooks are responsible for delivering the highest quality food and service at all times. Cooks are responsible for daily operational procedures and are responsible for food production and plating in accordance with company specs and timing standards. Cooks are responsible for following Chef Siversen’s recipes at all times.

Applicants must have experience in fine dining or upscale restaurants, have a positive attitude, be organized, and prioritize discipline. Being goal-oriented and self-driven is a must. Line Cook

Our line cooks are integral to producing high-quality menu items under the direction of the Chef. We are looking for talented individuals that thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will prep, cook, and season all food according to the recipe; control food production; maintain a clean station and adhere to all kitchen maintenance and sanitation standards; have an up-to-date knowledge of the menu (including preparation, seasoning, ingredients, and plate presentation); follow proper methods for preparing and cooking food; and more. 

Essential job requirements and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • A genuine sense of hospitality and desire to interact with our guests 
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail 
  • Must be familiar with all phases of food preparation and related techniques 
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team

Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated operations manager.

Under the direction of the General Manager, the AGM is assigned responsibilities necessary for the timely service of our guests, advance the education and performance of the Front of the House staff, and contribute to the profitable function of Feathered Fox. Your sphere of control and responsibility will include directing the sustained success, growth, and overall asset management of the restaurant as measured by total revenue and net income in relation to budgeted goals and owner's objectives.

Essential Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage FOH staff to uphold exemplary service standards and ensure utmost guest satisfaction 
  • Perform opening and closing responsibilities 
  • Oversee and monitor staff breaks 
  • Assist in running the door and managing reservations 
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with regular guests & new guests 
  • Manage communications as they relate to reservation policies, cancellation, and procedures 
  • Assist with development and training of all FOH staff

Events Manager

Seeking an event manager to assist in coordinating all private events ranging from formal dinners, large corporate retreats/conferences to weddings and other celebratory engagements, ensuring that the client experience is seamless and all internal planning and communications is concise and effective. 

This post requires an individual with experience in hospitality, exhibits passion for their job, and finds no detail too small to sweat.

Job Responsibilities Include 

  • Plan and organize events in accordance with financial and time restraints 
  • Plan and communicate all client needs with BOH and third-party vendors 
  • Meet with clients and coordinate with them regularly 
  • Negotiate with vendors as necessary 
  • Handle, coordinate and oversee all event operations
